EVER WONDERED WHAT A PRO GOLFER'S SEASON IS LIKE?
Obviously lots of hours on the practice ground, perfecting skills in
every area of their game.
Planning events to participate in is also critical to give them the best opportunity to win the ultimate prize, of "order of merit" champion.
Now amateur club golfers across the UK can emulate the pros with their very own competition.
The MAKETHECUT competition brings together all club golfers competing for the ultimate prize and kudos of most improved and consistent club golfer of the season.
WHO IS THE COMPETITION OPEN TO?
As long as your home club is registered as a qualifying event club, whether you are male or female, junior or senior, Full Member or 5 day Member, if you are likely to play a minimum of 4 medal rounds during the season, you can enter!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simple, just register for the MAKETHECUT competition and play a minimum of 4 monthly medals at your home club throughout the season. You can play in as many medals as your club organises and your best four Nett scores are added together to give your lowest accumulative Nett total.
You compete against all registered MAKETHECUT competition members from your club, and the golfer with the lowest total at the end of the season qualifies for the regional Finals Day.
Here’s the bonus, you will be competing against only the members in your club who fall into the same handicap category as yourself. There are 5 handicap categories to compete in, so 5 qualifying event winners from each club will go through to Finals Day!
You can constantly monitor how your season is progressing by accessing all your medal results, together with a league table of the members in your club via the MY SEASON link.
You know what you have to do to MAKETHECUT!!!
When you are successful at the end of the season you will then have the opportunity to compete with approximately 150 qualifying event winners (5 winners from approximately 30 clubs in your region) at the regional Finals Day for the ultimate prize of the MAKETHECUT trophy.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category and you can even bring along your own caddie for the day!
The entrance fee for the competition is only £10.00 per golfer and all green fees and meals for Finals Day are included in this price!

You can register at any time throughout the season however only scores produced after your date of registration for MAKETHECUT will count as qualifying scores to FINALS DAY.
